Founder/CEO: Nurse Practitioner
I founded and trademarked ICARENP and founded IVitality Wellness in honor of my late mother, who passed away in April 2020. Her legacy inspired me to reimagine how healthcare could be delivered—with compassion, accessibility, and dignity. After witnessing far too many patients turned away simply because they couldn’t afford care or couldn’t make it to a clinic, I knew it was time for change. Our mission is to keep healthcare simple and accessible.
I’m proud to be joined by a team of experienced professionals who share our mission: to keep healthcare simple, accessible, and deeply human. We believe exceptional care begins by listening to the story that brought you to us.
Professionally, I’m a doctorate-trained, board-certified nurse practitioner with over 25 years of diverse healthcare experience across the country. My expertise spans primary care, heart care, obesity management, diabetes, hormone health and functional medicine. I hold multiple specialized certifications and advanced training in chronic disease and behavioral health—allowing me to offer truly comprehensive, personalized care. My roots as a bedside nurse—working long 12-hour shifts—taught me that textbooks and technology cannot replace kindness, empathy, and respect. These are the values I carry into every patient interaction.
My journey hasn’t been without its challenges. As a teen mom, I faced adversity, bias, and countless obstacles. Those experiences shaped my deep commitment to meeting people where they are and designing care that reflects their goals, values, and lived realities.

I’ve practiced as a vascular surgeon for over 25 years, giving me extensive experience treating chronic illness and a deep understanding of the immense impact these challenges have on patients and their families. As a physician living with chronic pain and with personal experience in addiction, I felt my passion evolving toward behavioral medicine and transitioned my career.
I’ve built specialized expertise in functional and behavioral medicine, enabling me to identify and address the underlying causes of pain and the complex challenges that often accompany it. At Bald Mountain Behavioral Medicine in Lake Orion, Michigan, I provide tailored care for individuals, couples, and families navigating chronic pain and addiction.
When Dr. Oles and I first crossed paths more than 20 years ago, she was a dedicated staff nurse on the hospital floor where I was training surgical residents.
Our journeys reunited in 2023, and together we now bring over 50 years of combined healthcare experience and a shared passion for empowering patients to achieve their personal health goals.
