What to Wear: Something comfortable. We will need to get access to your elbow area. Some people get chilly when they are getting IV fluids, so bring a blanket or jacket!

Hydration tips
- Drink plenty of water: Aim for at least 24 ounces of water after your IV drip.Continuing to drink water throughout the day will support nutrient absorption and help your body recover.
- Avoid dehydrating beverages: Steer clear of alcohol, caffeine, and sugary drinks, as they can counteract the benefits of the IV and lead to dehydration.
- Monitor your urine: Check your urine color to gauge your hydration. Clear or light-yellow urine indicates you are well-hydrated.
- Listen to your body: If you feel tired, it is normal to rest. Hydration is key to recovery, so continue to drink fluids even if you are resting.
