Hydration tips

  • Drink plenty of water: Aim for at least 24 ounces of water after your IV drip. Continuing to drink water throughout the day will support nutrient absorption and help your body recover.
  • Avoid dehydrating beverages: Steer clear of alcohol, caffeine, and sugary drinks, as they can counteract the benefits of the IV and lead to dehydration.
  • Monitor your urine: Check your urine color to gauge your hydration. Clear or light-yellow urine indicates you are well-hydrated.

IV Infusion Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at support@ivitalitycenter.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

You will be charged the payment at the time of your visit. We staff infusions based appointments with licensed providers. If you do not show to your scheduled appointment, you will not be able to schedule an infusion with us in the future.

  • We do not accept insurance.
  • Wellness infusions are considered elective and are paid out‑of‑pocket.
  • Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate before treatment. Clinics often provide documentation to support insurance or HSA/FSA reimbursement when appropriate.

  • Good candidates: Adults cleared by a clinician after review of medical history and basic labs; patients seeking supervised nutrient or metabolic support.
  • Not appropriate without clearance: People with unstable heart disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, severe kidney or liver disease, active infection, known allergy to the product, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding unless a clinician approves.
  • Special caution: Immunocompromised patients and those on certain prescription medications require individualized risk assessment.

  • Medical history review, medication and allergy check, and vital signs.
  • Clinician documents consent, explains benefits and risks, and confirms the infusion plan and route (IV push, slow IV, or IV drip).

  • Hydrate well the day before and the morning of your visit unless instructed otherwise.
  • Bring a current medication list and allergy history.
  • Eat a light meal unless your clinician advises fasting.
  • Wear short sleeves or loose clothing for easy IV access.
  • Arrive on time and plan for the infusion duration (30-120 minutes depending on product and protocol).

  • A clinician or trained nurse places an IV catheter and monitors you throughout.
  • You will be observed for immediate reactions; vitals may be checked before, during, and after the infusion.
  • Staff will provide post‑infusion instructions and a contact number for concerns.

  • Common, mild: Injection‑site soreness, bruising, lightheadedness, transient nausea, or flushing.
  • Less common, serious: Signs of allergic reaction (hives, swelling, difficulty breathing), chest pain, severe dizziness, or prolonged vomiting. Seek emergency care for severe symptoms and contact the clinic immediately for other concerning reactions.

  • Frequency depends on the product, clinical indication, and your response. Typical schedules vary from a single session to a series (weekly or monthly) determined by your clinician. Do not self‑schedule repeated infusions without medical oversight.

  • Some infusions interact with prescription drugs or medical conditions. Always provide a complete medication and supplement list during evaluation. The clinician will screen for interactions and adjust the plan or recommend alternative therapies if needed.

  • Clinics should use pharmacy‑grade, sterile products from verified suppliers and follow strict cold‑chain and storage protocols. Ask your clinic about product sourcing, lot numbers, and sterility procedures if you have concerns.

No. We do not offer this service at this time.

  • Written consent form and treatment plan.
  • Product name, lot number, and expiration date.
  • Storage and handling instructions provided with shipped products.
  • Emergency contact and post‑infusion instructions.
